“Louis Vuitton X” Archive Exhibition Has Officially Been Extended

According to WWD, the luxe space which features over 180 items from the fashion house’s history will be open to the public until November 10. After opening an exclusive-residency led by Virgil Abloh in Chicago, Louis Vuitton reveals its latest exhibit in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Titled “Louis Vuitton X,” the massive luxury installation spans across two floors and ten rooms. The museum experience draws on over 180 items from Louis Vuitton’s archives and scenography tracing the company’s iconic history. “Louis Vuitton X” celebrates the brand’s 160-year history of collaborations through a number of digital and interactive experiences. The exhibition features a large collection of Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram bags, reimagined by renowned artists and designers such as Karl LagerfeldRei Kawakubo and more. Original collaborations and commissions by artists including, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Prince and Zaha Hadid will also be on display. Spaces dedicated to Louis Vuitton’s artistic directors Nicolas Ghesquière and Virgil Abloh are notable highlights of the immersive space.

Additionally, a limited-edition pop-up store will open featuring an assortment of products curated by Sarah Andelman, former creative director of colette. The shop will include Louis Vuitton ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, fragrances, leather goods, Objets Nomades and books. Louis Vuitton X and the exclusive pop-up store will both be open to the public from June 28 through September 15. Take a look inside the space above.
